Privacy policy

Horoscopes, tarot, compatibility, numerology, the moon calendar and the birth chart all work without signing up. We don’t need your name or email to use them.

To draw a birth chart we use the birth date, time and place you enter. To turn a place name into coordinates we send only the place text to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service. Your chart is shown in your browser and is not saved on our servers. If you download it as a PDF, the chart details are sent to our server just long enough to render the file.

If you use the palm report, the hand photo you upload and your birth details are sent to OpenAI to read the palm lines and write your report. We don’t store the photo; the finished report is kept only in your browser tab.

If you create an account we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password (never the password itself) and, if you add one, an avatar image link. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days.

If you subscribe, we store your email address and which form you used. We use it only to send you Astrofio updates. Ask us any time and we’ll remove it.

We use Google Analytics and Mixpanel to understand how the site is used: pages visited, visit length, device type and approximate location from your IP address. Mixpanel may record anonymous sessions to help us find design problems; text you type into form fields is masked.

We may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings and learn more at policies.google.com.

To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, including your account or newsletter subscription, email hello@astrofio.com. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Astrofio is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
